Marshall lands Michigan

Iman Marshall is one of the top 2015 prospects in the West and his offer list continues to grow with big-time schools.
The Long Beach (Calif.) Poly cornerback just landed an offer from Michigan, another major one for the 6-foot, 175-pound recruit who will be at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge in Chicago.

"My coach called me and the Michigan coach was at Poly," Marshall said. "They wanted to talk with JuJu (Smith) and they wanted to talk to me as well. They ended up offering me then.
"It was more of like a complete surprise because I wasn't expecting it so early. I was expecting it but I thought it would be later.
"I'm still looking at everything equally. I'm looking forward to taking a visit up there and seeing how everything is run up at Michigan."
The 2015 prospect has now landed offers from Cal, Colorado, Florida State, Michigan, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, Oregon State, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington, Washington State and Wisconsin.
Another of his latest offers came from Notre Dame and even though it's still early there is clearly some interest in the Irish.
"It was the same as Michigan, they came to the school and they talked to me," Marshall said. "Notre Dame is a great program, great tradition. You can never go wrong with Notre Dame. They have a great fan base, great crowd to play in front of so it's a great place to play."
Many other big offers could be on the way. Marshall said his recruitment has expanded from just West Coast schools to top teams around the country and he wants to remain open to every program to see which ones get involved especially since his junior season hasn't even started yet.
"It opened up more nationally now." Marshall said. "Everybody is seeing me more nationally now instead of just on the West Coast. Across the nation it's been more eye-opening from the SEC, to the ACC, to the Big 12, to the Pac-12. The interest is going up for me."
