Marshall first FBS offer for Nashville DT

Class of 2015 Nashville (Tenn.) Ensworth defensive tackle Myles Douglas has waited patiently while his high school teammates add offers. After recently picking up his FBS offer courtesy of Marshall, Douglas can finally have his moment in the sun.
"I was at lunch during exam week and my coach came to me and let me know that Austin Peay had offered," Douglas said. "Then the next day I was on Facebook and Marshall's coach let me know that he wanted to offer me."

Prior to the offer, Douglas hadn't been in touch with The Herd coaching staff at all, but one look at his junior film is all it took.
"They said they saw my film and were really impressed," The 6-foot, 296-pound Douglas said. "That's pretty big. Just to have my first couple of offers is pretty exciting."
Since adding the offer, Douglas said he's started to work on building a relationship and learning more about the program.
"I've been in touch with them a couple of times and I'm looking forward to talking more," he said. "I don't really know a whole lot about the school but I remember them beating Maryland in the bowl game and I know they won a lot of games last year. They're a school that is going to be on my radar for sure going forward and hopefully I can get up there this summer and check it out."
