SAN ANTONIO - Indianapolis (Ind.) Ben Davis four-star quarterback MarQueis Gray officially visited Minnesota on Sept. 28. After that visit, Gray knew where he wanted to go, but wanted to keep it quiet in order to be able to announce his decision at the U.S. Army All-American Game.
Well, the wait is over and during the second quarter Gray announced for the Gophers.
"(Minnesota) coach (Tim) Brewster is like another player to me," Gray said earlier in the week. "He's a cool guy. When I went on my official visit there, they treated me really well and they kept in contact when I broke my arm during the season."

Gray is third on the Indiana top 15 list behind Notre Dame commits John Goodman, who's also playing for the East, and Braxston Cave. He's also a member of the Rivals250. He becomes the 25th commitment for the Gophers and the six four-star prospect for Tim Brewster.
