Offensive / defensive lineman Marque Hall hasn't tipped his hand much recently, and several schools remain in a tight battle for the Marshville (N.C.) Forest Hills star. Which schools are in contention?
"I don't really have one favorite school," said Hall. "But I really like places like NC State, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. I like Virginia Tech too. All those schools are either in-state places or in the state right next to North Carolina. I don't want to go too far from home, so it's good that all these places are nearby."
The 6-foot-5, 305-pound lineman runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds and bench presses an amazing 400 pounds.
"I went to the game at South Carolina this weekend," he said. "They played Florida really tough, and I was impressed with everything there. The crowd was good and the intensity level was really high. It helped them out."
Hall hasn't set up his official visits yet, but does plan on setting them up after his season is over.
"I probably won't make a decision until after I take all my visits. There's a chance one school could just really surprise me, but that's probably not going to happen. My decision will come later in the recruiting process, towards the end."
