Maroney to ink with Gophers
St. Louis (Mo.) Normandy running back Laurence Maroney has finally announced where he's going to college.
"He told us this morning he was going to sign with Minnesota today," a school secretary said. "He'll sign in about 20 minutes with them and then we'll fax in the papers."
Maroney chose the Gophers over the home state Missouri Tigers as well as several other schools.
