Mark Bradford Stars at Nike and more

When you cover a camp as massive the Nike Stanford camp it hard to see everything that goes on so subsequently many top camp performers could be missed.
One of the most impressive players on the day was Mark Bradford from Los Angeles (Calif.) Fremont.

Bradford solidified his stature as one of the Golden State’s best wide receiver prospects and that is saying something in the year of 2002. This crop of wide receivers is as deep as any in recent memory.
Bradford was named Camp MVP after his stellar performance. He landed in the top five recording a 4.41 40-yard dash time. But what really caught everyone’s attention was the way he was catching the ball and with his route running skills.
Another player that caught our eye was Xzavie Jackson. Jackson sure passes the look test standing 6-foot-4, weighs 230 pounds and ran the 40 in 4.5 seconds. Everyone that was near us was asking, “Who is that?” Jackson plays tight end and linebacker for Vacaville (Calif.) Wood. If you weren’t acquainted with Jackson before you will be very soon.
Pac10Recruiting also liked the way Leon Drummer drilled. Drummer is an offensive lineman from Berkeley (Calif.) St. Mary’s. He moved very well for his 6-foot-5 and 285 pound frame.
Adam Cimina from Lafayette (Calif.) Acalanes walked by us and he sure looked every bit of his 6-foot-7 and 330 pounds that has been reported.
Concord (Calif.) DeLaSalle’s Eric Sandie was a very impressive looking specimen. Sandie is known around DeLaSalle as a focused and tireless worker. That observation appeared to be true by the way that Sandie hustled throughout the camp.
Hercules Satele from Long Beach (Calif.) had another strong showing at the camp. Satele was one of the camp stars at the USC camp a couple of weeks ago and he was impressive again at Nike camp held at Stanford.
Pac10Recruiting was able to eyeball offensive linemen Ryan Kalil from Anaheim (Calif.) Servite, Robbie Garibay from Palo Cedro (Calif.) Foothill and Kyle DeVan from Vacaville, Calif., and all three looked like they have the goods.
Pac10Recruiting will have another report on other players later today…
