Marcus Everett: Back From Oregon

West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade athlete Marcus Everett visited Oregon this past weekend and said the Ducks are now right there with his previous leader, UCLA.
“It’s too close to call between those two right now,” Everett said. “Oregon was real nice and has the best facilities of any school I’ve seen so far. I also like how the players and coaches all seem to be like one big family at Oregon. Everyone lives pretty close to each other and you can tell that helps a lot in terms of the team chemistry and all.

“I also like the city of Eugene. It’s a nice little college town and the Oregon football is the biggest thing going on there. If I decide I want to leave home, that’s definitely where I want to go. Notre Dame is coming by the school and my house tomorrow and I’ll likely set a visit with them for the 16th of this month. I also have a trip set with Boston College for (Jan. 23) but I’m not sure if I’m going to take it. I could be ready to decide by then.”
Everett has already visited Washington State and UCLA. The athlete added that he could play both football and basketball in college although he said football is his top priority right now.
