Rivals100 linebacker Terrell Manning out of Laurinburg (N.C.) Scotland County has scheduled a press conference for Friday. As the week goes on, speculation has run rampant on who he'll pick. Rivals caught up to the 6-foot-2, 205-pounder for one last interview before the announcement hits.
"I am scheduled to announce my decision on Friday at 1 p.m.," he said. "Right now it is still the three schools, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State and Clemson.
"I like those three because they've been interested in me from the beginning and I like the environment at those schools."
The four-star prospect reflected on the three colleges remaining.
"Virginia Tech always has a good defense," he said. "Clemson has a good defense too and North Carolina State's fans are crazy. The big factor for me is seeing myself fit into their program and I'm looking for playing time."
Who does Manning see the most playing time with?
"Possibly NC State," he said. "They could give up a lot of early playing time, while Clemson and Virginia Tech appear to be about the same."
Has Manning made a decision yet?
"I feel like I have, but now I'm just questioning it. It's not quite done."
