Mangiro picks up big offer

Succasunna (N.J.) Roxbury offensive guard Angelo Mangiro has been staying busy of late, visiting schools that he has a high level of interest in.
This week Mangiro's school is out for spring break and that affords him with an opportunity to continue to visits schools that are on his list. For now, however, he's just excited about his most recent offer.
"I was at Penn State yesterday," Mangiro said. "I got offered while I was there. It was pretty exciting, especially since Joe Pa gave it to me personally. It was just a regular spring practice they were having and I got to see the facilities and everything. I had been up there for a game once before and really enjoyed it."

A couple of weekends ago Mangiro visited Maryland and said that trip went well, too. He likes the fact that both Penn State and Maryland are close to home, but not too close.
"I'm going to Rutgers tomorrow and Pittsburgh on Thursday. From Pittsburgh I'm going to Ohio State on Friday, and Saturday I'm driving back."
He went on to say that there are 8 or 10 schools that he is still interested in. He hopes that he can narrow his list down even more after this round of visits which will end on Saturday. He will also be visiting Boston College on April 24.
Mangiro does not know where he will be taking official visits in the fall.
