Mama wants SEC visit

Not much is new for Damien Mama but the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco offensive lineman is planning one more trip this summer and it could be huge.
Alabama has been a team since it offered that has been high on Mama's list and he's hoping to visit Tuscaloosa before the start of his senior season.

"I'm trying to get out to Alabama sometime this summer," Mama said. "I'm really not sure when that's going to happen. I really want to see what it's like out there."
The 6-foot-5, 360-pound prospect who shined at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge in Chicago said he's not sure if Alabama commit Viane Talamaivao will join him on the trip.
Mama and Talamaivao are close friends and training partners and that could play a big factor later on in Mama's decision-making process if Talamaivao, from Corona (Calif.) Centennial, sticks with his Alabama pledge.
Recently, Texas A&M reached out to Mama but he said he hasn't heard much from the Aggies in recent weeks. He's hoping it continues to pick up through his senior season.
"I haven't talked to them in a couple days so there's nothing really new with them," Mama said.
USC, UCLA, Ohio State are three other programs seriously involved with Mama, rated as the fifth-best offensive guard in the 2014 class but could clearly move up after outstanding performances this summer.
Mama wants to visit Alabama this summer and he'll definitely be there in the fall. His lone official visit is slated for the Alabama-LSU showdown in November.
