Mama likes both Pac-12 schools

Damien Mama has a lot of interest in both Oregon and USC so it was especially valuable for the 2014 offensive lineman to take an unofficial visit to the Coliseum last weekend for the matchup.
The Ducks won the game and the Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco standout said he got a good feel for both programs during the trip.

"I have a lot of interest in both schools," Mama said. "I like both schools. I really like the Pac-12.
"It was pretty cool to see both of them. We run a spread offense like Oregon so it was pretty cool to see the plays we run.
"Both schools said to keep doing what I'm doing, keep it up, and they're both recruiting me hard and they might offer me soon. I'm not sure."
The 6-foot-5, 360-pound offensive guard said he's pretty much hearing from the entire Pac-12 along with Oklahoma. So far, Colorado is the lone offer for him.
Mama has been to a handful of USC games this season and said he loves the environment there. The sense is that staying closer to home appeals to the massive 2014 lineman so USC and UCLA should be closely watched.
With Oregon's huge success - and the win over the Trojans - there is definitely some interest there as well.
"It was pretty intense there, big game between the two teams, so it was nice to see," Mama said. "That wasn't my first time there. I think I've been to about three other games before.
"It was really cool. Everybody was into the game and the crowd was loud. It was pretty intense there."
Bellflower St. John Bosco, which is loaded with underclassmen talent, faces Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Tesoro in the first round of playoffs this weekend.
