Mama could trim list soon

Damien Mama had been hearing from the Florida coaching staff but it took a recent visit by an assistant coach and some film watching to land an offer from the Gators.
It is another major offer for the massive lineman from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco and Mama said it's one he's going to seriously consider.

"They came by the school and I got to talk with the coach," Mama said. "They told me to stay in contact and they ended up seeing my film and the whole coaching staff really liked it so then they ended up calling and offering me.
"It's a great school. I got to see them this year. They're the Florida Gators. That's great football."
The 6-foot-5, 360-pound lineman who's being recruited by some schools to play offensive guard and others to play offensive tackle said he wants to narrow down his ever-growing list soon.
But that still seems in the preliminary stages because the St. John Bosco standout doesn't have a target number of programs to keep or a date to get that done. Mama also does not have any schools that will definitely make the cut even though some have emerged as possible favorites.
"I'm probably going to narrow down my list pretty soon," Mama said. "It's pretty much the same teams that have been involved. I haven't really been hearing from any other ones."
USC has been considered one of the frontrunners for Mama, who really emerged this past season and has continued to have a strong off-season. But the four-star prospect is not giving out any hints as to which programs he favors at this point.
In total, Mama has been offered by Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Cal, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Nevada, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon State, Pitt, San Diego State, San Jose State, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington, Washington State and Wisconsin.
