Maldonado has 'eye-opening' official visit to Northwestern

Because he had previously been to Northwestern on an unofficial visit, 2020 Chandler (Ariz.) three-star safety Gunner Maldonado already knew what the campus looked like.

Nonetheless, last weekend’s official visit allowed him to delve deeper into both the athletic and academic sides of the university and gain a better sense for the vibe in Evanston.

He loved what he saw and experienced.
