Makovicka nearing a decision
Brainard (Neb.) East Butler fullback/linebacker Justin Makovicka has taken two official visits this month and was looking at a third visit. Now, the two-star prospect is nearing a decision.
"I don't think Justin is going to visit Kansas State this weekend," East Butler coach Shawn Biltost said. "I think he has narrowed things down to two schools and is going to pick from them.

"The two he is looking at are Iowa State and Nebraska. Iowa State is offering him a grayshirt scholarship where he would delay entry into school until the second semester. Nebraska is talking to him about walking on."
Makovicka had taken visits this month to Iowa State (Jan. 13) and Ohio (Jan. 20).
