Siaki Ika committed to BYU at an early age and he still stands behind his pledge to the Cougars.

However, the 2019 defensive tackle from Salt Lake City (Utah) East has been receiving major offers over the last few months and another one came in over the weekend.

Washington is the latest school to offer the massive 6-foot-3, 330-pound prospect and he’s definitely going to take a look at the Huskies as his recruitment continues.

“Truly am grateful to have received an offer,” Ika said.

“It really was exciting and a dream come true. I committed to BYU at a young age but I'm still entirely open to recruitment and when it comes down to making a final decision Washington will definitely be one of the top contenders.”

It has been a busy few months for Ika, who looked good this summer at the USC Rising Stars Camp.

So far, the 2019 standout from Salt Lake City East has landed offers from BYU, USC, Utah, Utah State, Vanderbilt, Washington and Wisconsin.

Plenty of new interest is also coming in for Ika, who has five sacks so far this season and has been dominant along the East defensive line.

According to the 2019 prospect, Stanford had reached out a lot especially last season and he’s also receiving recruiting mail from LSU, Florida State and Washington State so far this year.
