Mahoney reflects on NIKE Training Camp
Offensive lineman Kevin Mahoney , a 6-foot-6 and 288 pounder from Springfield (Ohio) North, will draw plenty of interest from recruiters on size alone. Mahoney will need to improve his speed and quickness, but has the size of a major college tackle right now.
Mahoney did 20 bench press reps at 185 pounds at the NIKE Training Camp on the campus of Ohio State Saturday, and had a 4.8 second shuttle time.

"I like Michigan, Ohio State, I liked Michigan State when I went up there," Mahoney said. "And I like Bowling Green and Florida."
"I visited Michigan State Sunday for a junior day. The campus is nice there. They seem like a good football program."
"I'm going to Notre Dame's spring game Saturday and their junior day Sunday. That's another school I like."
"The NIKE Camp was fun. I learned a lot. The competition was good."
