Magnolia WR has favorites

Madison (Miss.) Madison Central wide receiver Tim Buckley is one of the top wideouts in the Magnolia State. He has already picked up a scholarship offer from one of the in-state schools and is looking out of state hoping to pick up his second offer.
"I have a written offer from Ole Miss and that is the only one that I know," Buckley said. "I know somebody said I had one from Southern Miss, but if I do then I don't know about it. They are recruiting me hard though. Alabama, Mississippi State and Memphis are all recruiting me right now too."

The 5-foot-10, 171-pound Buckley attended the NIKE camp in Oxford in May where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.58 seconds and a 31-inch vertical jump.
"I have been to camps at Ole Miss, Alabama and Southern Miss this summer," Buckley said. "Right now I would say that Alabama and Ole Miss are my favorites, but Southern Miss and Mississippi State are my favorites. Ole Miss is rebuilding but they are a good program. Alabama is a powerhouse and they have a great program."
Buckley, who plays quarterback for his high school team, passed for 1,400 yards and 12 touchdowns his junior season, as he was named to the all-metro team for his accomplishments.
"I still have a lot of thinking to do about stuff right now," Buckley said. "Playing time is not a big concern for me. I know that I will probably get red-shirted and have to wait my turn so I understand that."
Buckley is ranked as the No. 23 player in the state of Mississippi by Rivals.com.
