Magnolia star Pack ready for visits

Four-star Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove linebacker Garry Pack is preparing for the first four consecutive weekend visits that will likely determine where he lands at the college level.
“I go to Florida State this weekend,” he said. “Then after that I have Southern Miss (1/16), Ole Miss (1/23) and Auburn (1/30) all in a row. I’m looking forward to seeing some more schools.”

Pack (6-1, 213, 4.5) visited Tennessee on Dec. 12.
“They’re all pretty even right now,” he said. “I don’t have anyone in the lead. It’s going to be a matter of where I feel the most comfortable, where I fit in the best, and who has the best chance for me to play early. I know every school tells you you’re going to play early, but I want to find out who’s really serious about that.”
Asked who appears to have the best depth chart situation for him at this point, Pack said: “I think probably Ole Miss and Auburn… but I’ll know for sure after my visits.”
As a senior, Pack recorded 156 tackles, one sack and one interception. He also rushed for 1,483 yards and 25 touchdowns.
He is rated the No. 11 inside linebacker in the nation by Rivals.com.
