Magnolia RB has a favorite

Biloxi, Miss., star running back Damion Fletcher is one of many great running backs in the Magnolia State this year. He has already picked up two scholarship offers and one team sits atop his list of favorites.
"My offers right now are still Southern Miss and Arkansas State," Fletcher said. "I've been hearing a lot from some other schools and stuff, but those are still my only two offers. After I went to Tennessee and Mississippi State's camps I started hearing more from them."

Fletcher really began to open eyes at the Oxford NIKE camp in May where the 5-foot-10, 168-pound Fletcher ran the 40-yard dash in 4.71 seconds, ran the shuttle in 4.35 seconds and posted a ridiculous 37-inch vertical jump.
"Right now Southern Miss is my favorite," Fletcher said. "It's close to home and I went to their camp this weekend and they want me to play running back and other schools want me as a defensive back. I'm also looking at Mississippi State, Tennessee and Ole Miss."
During his junior campaign Fletcher carried the ball 249 times for 1,694 yards and 24 touchdowns, averaging 6.8 yards per carry.
"I'm going to wait a little while before I make a decision," Fletcher said. "I want to see who all offers and look at everything. I will probably make a decision sometime during the season."
Fletcher is ranked as the No. 28 player in the state of Mississippi by Rivals.com.
