Magnolia DL having big season

Olive Branch, Miss defensive tackle Victor Thomas is one of the top players in the state of Mississippi and has stock has continued to go up and he has picked up his newest offer from a big SEC program.
"I have gotten calls from Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU and Florida so far," Thomas said. "Ole Miss was the first to call me. They called me the first morning they could, so that was really cool to see that they called me that early."

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Thomas is ranked as the No. 14 player in Mississippi and the No. 37 defensive tackle in the nation by Rivals.com.
"Right now we are 3-0 and ranked No. 1 in the state," Thomas said "I have gotten 13 tackles, 2.5 sacks already this season so I think I am playing pretty well so far. I get double teamed a lot so it helps open some of my teammates so they can make some other tackles."
As a junior, Thomas was named second-team all-region as a defensive lineman and picked up 24 tackles.
