Magnolia ATH visits Eagles
Three-star Columbus (Miss.) athlete Gabe O’Neal took his second official visit this weekend.
“I took my visit to Southern Miss,” he said. “It went well. I liked it. It was different from my first one (to Mississippi State last week).”

How so?
“They just do things a lot different there,” he said. “It wasn’t different in a good or bad way compared to Mississippi State – I liked both of them – but it was nice to see some of the differences in how they worked things.
“The best part was how I got along with the players and coaches. We got to spend a lot of time with our position coaches. I thought that was nice.”
Could a decision be looming?
“I promised myself when all this started that I wouldn’t decide until I took all my visits,” he said. “I’m going to take one to Memphis next weekend before I choose. They’re all even right now.”
