Magill talks favorites

Tight end Cody Magill out of Gaithersburg (Md.) Quince Orchard is considering a decision in the near future. The 6-foot-4, 235-pounder has four schools standing out at this time.
"I've narrowed my list down to Delaware, Syracuse, ECU and Ohio," he said. "I met with my coaches and parents. I felt like those were the top four that were interested in me.

"My coach is going to talk to me more soon about whether I should commit or wait for senior offers. I'm not really leaning one way or another."
Before any decision could happen, the two-star prospect will take at least a couple unofficial visits.
"My mom hasn't seen any of those schools yet," he said. "I want to take here to Syracuse and Delaware in the near future before the season starts. Then if I take official visits, I'll go to ECU and Ohio.
"The reason I may not decide now is that last year I was a blocking tight end. My role will change this season and I'm the No. 1 passing target. I could attract more offers. I do know that I don't want to decommit."
Magill confirmed amongst the schools leading, Delaware and Syracuse have an edge.
"I've been talking to those schools every week," he said. "The top thing in my book is academics. Syracuse is the No. 1 communications school in the country, while Delaware offers communication and sports management. I want to try to become a sports agent."
