Magazu is awaiting more offers
Charlotte (N.C.) Providence athlete Damon Magazu holds one scholarship. However, a number of other schools are eyeing the 5-foot-11, 170-pounder.
"I've got my one offer from East Carolina I got a month and a half ago after going to their junior day," he said. "That's the only offer I have so far.

"I actually plan on going to East Carolina's spring game this weekend."
A variety of colleges are interested in Magazu outside of East Carolina.
"I've been in touch with Wake Forest, NC State, Duke, Virginia Tech, Appalachian State and Elon," he said. "They are just staying in contact and watching my film. They're going to evaluate me more during May.
"I am starting to look at camps, but I'm not sure which camps I'll be attending yet."
Currently the Pirates stick out in the early going for Magazu.
"I like East Carolina and definitely want to stay in-state or close to North Carolina," he said. "I don't want to be too far away from home, but not too close either.
"Outside of that, the most important thing to me is the coaching staff at each school."
