Madsen to play in the MAC
Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney offensive lineman Mike Madsen, who had scholarship offers from a couple MAC schools, has decided he will play his college football for one of them.
"I committed to Miami," Madsen said. "I took a visit there with my mom back in April. Then I visited there with my dad. I decided that is where I wanted to go.

"I like their football program. It's a good school athletically and academically."
Madsen also had a scholarship offer from Kent State and mentioned Bowling Green and Wisconsin too.
The 6-foot-3 and 275-pounder helped lead his team to the state championship game during his junior season and an overall record of 12-3. Madsen has good feet and is particularly adept in pass protection. He is an outstanding student too.
