Maddox waiting on No. 2

Three-star safety Dominick Maddox from Converse (Texas) Judson is working hard and patiently waiting for more scholarship offers to arrive.
The 5-foot-10, 191-pounder has one in hand from UTEP, but has also been in recent contact with Air Force and Arizona. Aside from that, the nation's No. 49 safety prospect also has been to a Texas camp and is looking to also make stops at Houston and LSU before the summer is out.

"I've been talking to Arizona and Air Force," Maddox said. "Those are pretty much the ones I've been talking with."
Maddox was also planning to stop at the UTEP camp, but was unable to make it. He also was able to stop by the Texas camp. So what's up next for visits?
"Probably the Houston camp," Maddox said. "I'm going to try and see if I can get to LSU too. Those are really the ones I see myself making. I went to the Texas camp earlier and that was great. I went up against Jeff Fuller. He's really smooth."
While Maddox says that he's looking at all options, he has a few favorites.
"Of the schools that are looking at me, I'd have to say Arizona because I like the Pac-10," Maddox said. "Out of all the schools, I'd like to go to Oklahoma because of their defense."
Maddox had 54 total tackles, two sacks, and three fumble recoveries as a junior.
