Macho narrowing list soon

Highland Springs, Va. tailback Victor “Macho” Harris is the top player in the state of Virginia this season. The 6-foot-0, 185-pound all-state standout has an impressive offer list that includes schools from just about every major conference in the country. So who leads?
“I’m not sure how many offers I have right now, somewhere in the 20-range I think. I haven’t narrowed my list yet, but I plan to by the end of the school year.”

What criteria does Harris plan to use when narrowing that list?
“I’m looking for the bond between the coaches and players. I’m looking for the school that has what I want to major in, although I’m not sure what that is just yet. I’m looking for depth at my position and just getting an education.”
A Rivals100 pre-evaluation period selection, what makes Harris so special as a player, that so many schools are contacting him with offer in hand?
“My strengths as a running back are my vision, my power, and most definitely my speed and footwork. I’m just trying to get better in every aspect of the game right now.
"There may be some things that people don’t think I need to work on, but I know. I’m not perfect, yet.”
So far in the recruiting process, Harris has shown the most interest in Virginia Tech, Virginia, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia so far.
"Like I said, I'm still open so it's not a set list," he said. "I hope to narrow things down closer to the season or this summer."
