Macaluso waits for more offers

Middletown South, N.J. linebacker Nick Macaluso kicked off the season last weekend with a 28-7 victory over Long Branch. The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder didn't play in the game, but was impressed by his team's performance.
"I didn't play because the doctor sat me out since I had a sprained knee," he said. "It's doing better and I should be able to play this week. I'm just looking to get back to 100%. Our team played well and did their job and executed really well."

Little has changed for the three-star linebacker.
"I haven't scheduled any official visits nor have any favorites," he said. "I am still looking at possibly taking officials to to Duke, Stanford, Rutgers and Northwestern, but I'll probably take them after the season most likely."
The No. 19 player in New Jersey has received calls from many schools across the country since September 1st.
"Northwestern, Duke, Kansas, Rutgers, Princeton, Notre Dame and Stanford have called," he said. "Basically they all are saying the same thing just keeping up to date with me."
Despite not having any officials scheduled, Macaluso is considering an unofficial.
"I'm looking at heading up to Rutgers sometime this fall for an unofficial just because it's close," he said. "Other than that I'm not looking to go anywhere else right now."
