MAC vs Big Ten For McDonald

"I didn't visit Northwestern," offensive lineman Ryan McDonald said. "There was a mix-up."

"I'm going to wait till this weekend and see what happens on my visit to Illinois."
"I'd say Toledo and Illinois are my favorites. I like Illinois best."
McDonald also has visits scheduled to Yale Jan. 9 and Western Michigan Jan. 16.
Toledo and Western Michigan have offered a scholarship.
The 6-foot-5 and 245 pound McDonald helped lead Holland (Mich.) West Ottawa to an 8-3 record. Both of McDonald's parents graduated from Illinois and his father was a three year starter at center for the Illini.
