MAC schools looking at Rodgers

Holland (Ohio) West Ottawa defensive back Ricky Rodgers is set for a big senior season. It's a season he hopes will help him net a number of scholarship offers.
"Toledo has sent some stuff," Rodgers said. "And my coach said Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Akron, and Ball State are showing interest. He said they are going to be sending stuff.

"I love the MAC conference, but I just want to play Division I college football.
"In college I want to play cornerback and on special teams."
The 5-foot-8 and 180 pound Rodgers was a varsity starter for Flint (Mich.) Northern during his sophomore year, before transfering to West Ottawa. Rodgers played strong safety and returned punts and kickoffs during his junior season.
