MA school has two to watch in 2008

Cambridge (Mass.) Cambridge Rindge and Latin School features two 2008 prospects to keep an eye on in linebacker Vinson Givans and defensive end Jarard Warren. What makes each of the prospects stand out?
The 6-foot-0, 185-pound Givans is a talented and athletic linebacker.

"I think he has the frame and athletic ability to be a very good player and I can already tell he's going to get a lot bigger," Cambridge Rindge and Latin School head coach Paul Gonnella said. "He is a very talented athlete that plays basketball and is competitive and tough. In our league he has to do a lot because he obviously plays in the front seven and most of the teams don't pass the ball.
"Binson is also a very reliable player. He is upfront and honest about his skills. He came to me after a loss last season and said straight up that it was his fault we didn't win the game. That takes a lot of character particularly for a kid that is only a sophomore."
Last season Givans registered two sacks and two interceptions on the season.
The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Warren is a prospect that is continuing to grow.
"He is starting to grow right now and I can tell he is going to be huge," he said. "Once he fills out completely he'll be a freak of nature.
"Jerriad has tremendous hand-eye coordination and is strongly competitive. Last year he went up against the kid from Mansfield, Corey Eason. Jerriad got beat a few times by him, but he still had a heck of a game against him.
"I felt like he learned how to blow up the line last year. He also proved to be a very talented tight end prospect too. We don't really use a tight end in our system, but he runs well and has good hands and agility."
