MA LB has three offers
Brockton (Mass.) linebacker Sam Besong has racked up three scholarship offers. Besong, one of the top players in Massachusetts, has a solid top five. Who has offered the talented linebacker?
"I have scholarship offers from Boston College, Syracuse, and New Hampshire," said the 6-foot-0, 225-pound linebacker who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.

What other schools are recruiting Besong?
"I am getting a lot of mail from Virginia, Michigan, and West Virginia as well. I would say that my top five is Boston College, Syracuse, Virginia, Michigan, and West Virginia."
Last season, Besong racked up 117 tackles, five interceptions, and two sacks. What does he plan to do this offseason to improve those numbers?
"I would like to add about 15 pounds of muscle. The other thing I am working on is my footwork."
What does Besong look for in a school?
"Academics are very important to me. I want to go to a school where I can get the education that can best prepare me for life in the real world. The other thing I look at is the direction of the program."
Besong currently has a 2.8 GPA and is scheduled to take the SAT on May 1.
