Lytle builds relationship with Miami

Tyler Lytle had some communication with Miami offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach James Coley and then the 2017 quarterback headed there for an unofficial visit.
Soon after, the Anaheim (Calif.) Servite prospect landed his first offer from the Hurricanes and he said they'll definitely be considered even though it's still early in his recruitment.

"I was talking to them before the visit," Lytle said. "I decided to take a visit down there and (Coley) decided to come up to the school a few days ago.
"Miami is a great city. I loved the school. It was a lot smaller than I thought it was going to be which I liked a lot. I like the feel. As soon as you walk on campus you can feel the history and tradition they have there.
"It was a great trip. I loved it."
The message from Coley to Lytle is to stay in touch as his recruitment continues and the regular communication could play a factor as the 2017 quarterback figures things out.
It's also a consideration that Miami has done so well with California quarterbacks - including current starter Brad Kaaya, who's from West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade - but Lytle said it won't be a major factor in his future commitment.
"He really wants to keep in touch," Lytle said of Coley. "He called me a few days ago. He said they really like the way I play and they want me on board.
"It's really cool that California quarterbacks have done so well in Miami. Brad Kaaya is definitely the guy with all the success he's had in the last year but that won't factor into my decision. I still have to pick the best school at the end of the day."
Others could get involved soon with Lytle, who should take over for Oregon signee Travis Waller at Servite next season. He said Washington State, Arizona State, UCLA and USC among others are showing interest.
