Lytle back from major trips

Tyler Lytle had productive stops at Michigan and Notre Dame and the 2017 three-star quarterback is hopeful his recruitment picks up even more.
The Anaheim (Calif.) Servite prospect stopped at the Irish Invasion first and had a good time in South Bend, received good feedback from the coaching staff and is excited about the Irish moving forward.

"There were only 12 quarterbacks there," Lytle said. "We started off with agility drills, quarterback drills, routes, one-on-ones and that was pretty much it.
"It was me, Hunter Johnson, Jake Allen, (Sean) Clifford, we kind of stayed with coach (Mike) Sanford the entire time. He told me after that he liked my competitiveness and how I threw the ball around and that he'd be in touch. Coach (Mike) Denbrock said he liked how I threw the ball, too."
After Lytle's stop at Notre Dame, the 2017 prospect went up to Michigan for its camp and it was another valuable visit. He didn't get to see much of campus but he worked out in front of the coaches and got a real feel for how coach Jim Harbaugh is going to run his program.
"I started off with quarterback drills and then we'd catch a fly ball or mix in some other sport to see what kind of athletes we were," Lytle said.
"The way it was set up I think there were nine pods. The first pod was me, Jake Allen, Brandon Peters and a few other guys. There were only eight guys in that pod. It was hours of drills, different drills, a little bit of everything.
"I talked to coach (Jedd) Fisch quite a bit. We exchanged numbers and he told me he'd definitely be in touch. I liked him a lot. Coach (Jim) Harbaugh has great energy. He would definitely be a fun guy to be coached by."
Lytle also stopped at Alabama and Miami this summer. He threw for the Hurricanes and already has an offer from them so that was definitely an important trip.
There's no question Lytle has a lot of early interest in Miami.
"I loved being down there again," Lytle said. "I threw with Jack Allison. I love that coaching staff and the school , loved the city, liked being around there. I got quarterback MVP with Jack Allison, we shared it. Overall, it was a pretty successful camp."
