Lyons schedules press conference

Wide receiver Wesley Lyons out of Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills has had three schools remaining for his services for a while now. With just a couple weeks to go before Signing Day, the 6-foot-6, 203-pounder has set up a press conference to announce his decision.
"I'm going to make my decision between Boston College, West Virginia and Ohio State on January 26th up here at Moys Cove at 7 p.m.," he said. "Right now I'd say I'm not totally favoring anyone, but I probably could say I'm looking at Ohio State and West Virginia a little higher because I'm more comfortable with them and their coaching staffs."

What does the three-star prospect like about all three of his finalists?
"I like Ohio State because of all the players and I feel real comfortable there. It doesn't hurt that my brother goes there too," he said. "I like the coaches a lot at West Virginia. They are real good and have a real young team that I could be apart of. I especially like coach Jones, Gibson and Rodriguez. It's just their personalities, they are good people that can joke around and are fun to be with.
"I like Boston College because of their passing game. They throw the ball a lot and I like that."
The No. 74 receiver in the country had an in-home visit from Ohio State earlier this week. He's also expecting plenty more visits at home or school before he decides.
"I met with coach Daniels today from Ohio State and our conversation was good," he said. "He mostly told me about their wide receiver situation and broke everything down for me.
"I've got West Virginia coming over on Thursday. Then I'm expecting to see the coaches stop through again on Tuesday and coach Tressel is coming down next Wednesday."
