Lyons schedules first official

Pittsburgh (Pa.) Woodland Hills wide receiver Wesley Lyons has scheduled his first official visit to West Virginia on September 30th. The 6-foot-5, 203-pounder with 4.6-second speed is looking forward to the upcoming visit.
"They are going to play Virginia Tech and I was planning to see Pittsburgh later in the season, but I think this will be a better game," he said. "It's going to be a fun weekend and I'm looking to have fun down there. I'm going just to watch the game and meet some of the players."

Currently Lyons favors West Virginia at this point in the process.
"They have told me that I can come in and play as a freshman and it's close to home and the atmosphere there is great, but we'll see what happens on my official visit."
The three-star prospect plans to take two of his other officials to Ohio State and Boston College.
"The other two visits are up for grabs," he said. "I chose Boston College because it's a great school and they've showed a lot of interest and they and West Virginia were the first ones to offer me. I want to go somewhere they appreciate me and really want me to come. My brother goes to Ohio State, so I do have ties there."
Lyons took unofficial visits to both of Ohio State's games including last weekend when they faced Texas.
"It was great down there and that was my first Ohio State night game, it's a great atmosphere and the fans are just crazy," he said. "I don't think the experience drew me any closer to them though."
The No. 67 receiver in the country has helped Woodland Hills to a 3-0 start.
