Lyons-Pena getting good looks

Fair Oaks (Calif.) Del Campo offensive guard Colin Lyons-Pena is one of the top offensive linemen in the Sacramento area.
At 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds, Lyons-Pena earned all-area honors as a junior and is already a hot target with the college coaches.
"Oregon State, Arizona State, San Diego State, Cal and UNLV have been in contact with me lately," Lyons-Pena said. "Those are pretty much the big ones. I was talking to Arizona State about an offer. San Diego State just offered. I have them and UNLV and Oregon State as offers."
Lyons-Pena said he hopes to make it to USC's Rising Senior Camp to peak the interest of the Trojans' coaches. But at this point USC is just one school on his top team list.
"My top schools probably would be Oregon State, USC, UCLA, Arizona State and Nevada," he said. "Those are pretty much my main schools. I want to try and commit before the season so I can concentrate on my season."
Lyons-Pena has big goals for the 2007 season.
"I don't really see anyone beating us," Lyons-Pena said. "I feel pretty good about our team. We've got two great running backs. Our offensive line is looking really solid. There's only two kids coming up from junior varsity to play on our line."
