Lynott feels bond to Colorado

Tim Lynott carries just one scholarship offer. It showed up roughly a month ago and comes from an in-state school. It probably won't be the last one he receives. But, at least for now, it's an all-important one to the 2015 prospect.
See, Lynott is familiar with Colorado. He's seen the campus several times and attended his share of games. It's not as though he has a laundry list of options at the moment. But even of he did, the Buffs would have a great chance of leading his recruitment anyway.

"I really like it there," Lynott said. "It's really close to home, and I like the coaches too. I've seen the faculties and like those. I just really like it there."
That's not to say the Aurora (Colo.) Regis Jesuit guard won't entertain other suitors. He plans to do just that. He's scheduled to attend Colorado State's junior day on Feb. 1 and plans to hit the corresponding event at Colorado on Feb 22.
Just a junior in high school, Lynott is also starting to make his way onto the recruiting radars of other programs. Word on him is spreading, be it slowly.
"A week ago, CSU came in to see me," Lynott said. "CU's head coach has been here. I talked to the Oregon O-line coach a week ago here at the school."
Lynott has family ties to a pair of schools, but those to the Colorado are strongest. And while they won't be the deciding factor in his recruitment, they will certainly play a part.
"My cousin lives in Boulder, and she always gives me CU stuff," Lynott said. "My dad went to Penn State, and my mom went to CU, but I've been leaning toward CU lately because of all of the games I've been to and all the attention they give me."
According to Lynott, he gets constant letters from Penn State, including invitations to attend games, but nothing more concrete has materialized.
As a junior, Lynott helped Regis Jesuit to a 9-2 record.
