Lynch visits PSU, set to decide

Penn State played host to a number of visitors this past weekend. Athol Springs (N.Y.) St. Francis running back Akeel Lynch made the trip to State College.
"It was good, it went really well," he said. "I got there Friday and we just went out to dinner and stayed with the players.

"On Saturday, I toured the school and talked to Coach O'Brien through Skype. I got to talk to the coaches especially the running back coach. That was most important as he talked about how they have a need at running back and my skill set fits them."
Aside from that, Lynch spent a fair amount of time with his host, Paul Jones.
"It was good with him, it went really well," he said. "He told me what to expect, so it was definitely a great conversation with him, he showed me a lot.
"Outside of that, I just toured a lot and talked to the coaches and the academic advisors."
Overall it was a good trip, but what's next?
"I think I'm making my decision sometime this week perhaps," he said. "I'm down to two, Iowa and Penn State. I'm not going to visit Mississippi.
"I definitely like both schools and I think one of these two places is for me."
