Lynch taking trips

Three-star quarterback Matt Lynch re-opened his recruitment recently to fully explore all of his options, and he's doing exactly that.
The former Colorado State commit visited Kansas and Kansas State this week and has a few more trips on the horizon. The 6-foot-3, 182-pound pro-style prospect from Broomfield (Colo.) Legacy has been in steady communication with Colorado and intends to camp with the Buffaloes as he aims to land more scholarship offers.

"Kansas State has high interest, but they want to see me throw first," Lynch said. "I was also at Northern Illinois and Kansas this week, and they said the same things. I liked everything about K-State. It's now up there at the top with Colorado."
With a new staff taking over at Colorado State following the departure of Jim McElwain to Florida, Lynch decided it was best to back off his early pledge and explore all of his options. He has been hearing from the likes of Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Washington and Wyoming since his decommitment.
Lynch has plans to visit Oregon, Oregon State and Washington in June, and he could also make a trip to throw in front of McElwain.
"All the camps are up in the air since we haven't figured those out yet," Lynch said. "I know coach Mac (McElwain) wants me down in Florida to throw."
Colorado would appear to be in a great spot with Lynch if it extended an offer. He has been by campus a few times and feels comfortable with the in-state school.
"I love CU, the coaches, facilities and all that," Lynch said. "They want to see me throw one more time before they offer. I'll camp with them for sure."
Lynch intends to graduate early so this summer could be big for his recruitment. He passed for 1,260 yards and 12 touchdowns, and rushed for 10 more scores, as a junior last season.
