Lyn-J Dixon schedules four official visits

One time Tennessee commit Lyn-J Dixon is being coveted by numerous Power 5 schools in different parts of the country. The 5-foot-11, 183 pound running back out of Butler (Ga.) Taylor County has laid low since re-opening his recruitment earlier this fall, but he has scheduled four of his five allotted official visits that fall between now and and the dead period in December.

The first one will go to Clemson and that will take place this weekend when the Tigers host The Citadel. The Tigers sent coaches down to Taylor County earlier this fall and Clemson was a school that offered Dixon after he committed to Tennessee in the summer.

Dixon was scheduled to visit Tennessee the following weekend, the last weekend in November, but since Butch Jones was dismissed Sunday, he has re-scheduled that for the first weekend in December.

Over the next two weekend in December, he will visit Louisville (December 8) and Oklahoma State (December 15).

If all goes as planned, Dixon will use his fifth and final official visit for a trip north to Michigan State.

"Those are mainly the five schools I am still looking at," said Dixon. "I just have to find a good date for Michigan State and I will have all of my visits lined up."

Dixon said he does not plan to sign during the early signing period and he has no leader.
