Inside linebacker Dane Zaslaw, who plays football for Edmond (Okla.) Memorial, has reached a lucky 13 in scholarship offers. But his top eight is made up of combination of schools that have offered and not offered.
"The top eight in no particular order would be LSU, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, Miami, Arizona State, Stanford and Arizona," Zaslaw said. "I've already visited most of my top eight on unofficial visits or for camps, so I'll probably just go to five schools that I've already been to for another look."
He has offers from all of the above eight colleges, except Texas, Miami and Stanford.
The other eight schools that have made a written offers are: Michigan State, Notre Dame, Arkansas, Wyoming, Missouri, Oklahoma State, SMU and Kansas.
When asked about a favorite at this point, he refused to picked any of the top eight listed above. However, he did mention Oklahoma and LSU twice when listing the top eight. Also, those two schools are recruiting him the hardest.
As a junior he had 121 tackles, one interception, three fumble recoveries and five forced fumbles as a linebacker.
