Luckett down to three

Three-star athlete Zach Luckett out of Absecon (N.J.) Holy Spirit has cut his list to three schools. Who is the 6-foot-3, 193-pounder down to?
"I've got Virginia Tech as my top, No. 1 school and then Penn State and Boston College are still in there," he said. "I'm down to those three. I like Penn State and Boston College because they have nice programs and are good teams. They also have good coaching at the schools."

Virginia Tech has constantly led for the No. 21 athlete in the country and the prospect plans to take his official next week September 16th to Blacksburg.
"I'm most likely to commit there eventually and I have the most interest in them. There's no chance I'll commit on the visit though," he said. "When I'm there I just want to see what kind of environment they play in, see the school and campus and the situation there between the players and coaches. I want to see if it's a family environment and how I'd fit in."
Luckett plans to make his commitment sometime in December.
Two schools that didn't make the cut for the No. 9 player in New Jersey are Virginia and Syracuse.
"I'm just going through the process and I wasn't focused as much on them," he said. "I'm starting to get closer to a decision and had to cut a couple teams out."
Luckett kicks off the season tonight.
"I'm looking forward to getting to the state championship," he said. "We look good this year and have a lot team speed. We just have to focus on what our job is and we'll be pretty good."
The last couple weeks Holy Spirit has played in three scrimmages.
"We lost two of them and the third was tied when we took our starters out," he said. "I did pretty well, but I only played in the third game really. I had two touchdowns, one on a 60-yard screen and the other a 60-yard pass. I'm still getting used to the game again and I was pretty happy with how I performed."
