Keisean Lucier-South has offers from basically everywhere but he recently narrowed it down to a top five and will mainly focus on only those schools moving forward.

The four-star defensive end from Orange (Calif.) Lutheran has UCLA, Michigan, Oregon, Oklahoma and Florida as his favorites and he said it was difficult cutting all the other schools but it was necessary so he could really focus on his favorites.
The next step is working out his official visit schedule.
"It was pretty tough to eliminate some schools because all of them were really on me since they offered me," Lucier-South said. "The five schools I put on my list I think those schools fit my vibe and I think they'll be good for me in the future. They fit my style. All those schools want me as a 3-4 outside linebacker or maybe a 4-3 weak-side defensive end so those are the schools I'm going to focus on right now.
"Right now I'm going to take all five officials but I don't know when I'm going to do it. In the next week or two I'm going to release what I'm going to do but right now I don't know when I'm going to take them. I'm focused on these five schools right now. But SC or Notre Dame could talk to me. SC is doing that a lot right now and I really respect that."
Michigan is the lone school where Lucier-South has booked an official visit and he will be in Ann Arbor in early October for the Penn State matchup. The four-star has called Michigan his "dream school" in the past and the Wolverines are definitely seriously involved in his recruitment.
"I love the program," Lucier-South said. "It's my favorite school. The tradition there is insane. I've been watching them since I was a little kid. I can feel the vibe over there and that's why I chose them as my first official visit, too. I want to check it out. I really love Michigan right now."
The two Pac-12 schools are definitely major players. Lucier-South absolutely loves the UCLA staff and Oregon has impressed him with the comparison they're making about him.
"I really like (UCLA) because of the coaching staff and the tradition there," Lucier-South said. "It's a winning program there now. I see them building a winning program there. They were my first big offer, too, and I really respect that and that's why I really like UCLA right now.
"Oregon says I can be the next Dion Jordan. I don't know if I can be the next Dion Jordan but that's what they want me to be. That also fits me, too, because they want me as a 3-4 outside linebacker, mostly a pass rusher, so that's why they're on the list."
Oklahoma and Florida round out the top five schools for Lucier-South, who should play exclusively at outside linebacker in his senior season.
"(Oklahoma) has really stepped it up," Lucier-South said. "They've talked to me every day since they offered me. I really love that and I really like the defense they play. It fits my style. They want me to be an outside linebacker and that's what I really like about them also.
"I love the coaching staff at Florida. They've been talking to me every single day. They've been messaging me, calling me, sending me letters every day. It fits me well and I love the vibe there. It's the SEC, too, that's a great conference and it's Florida, a great program, and that's why I like them."
