Lucien picks up another big offer

Devin Lucien had a big weekend with eight catches for 183 yards and three touchdowns to help lead Encino (Calif.) Crespi to a 14-point victory over Murrieta (Calif.) Vista Murrieta and now the three-star receiver has picked up another big offer.
Arizona State is the latest school to offer Lucien, a 6-foot-1, 189-pounder who also has Air Force, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa State, New Mexico State, Oregon State San Diego State and Tulsa on his list.

"The ASU offer means a lot," Lucien said via text message.
"They have a great program there and I'm excited to get more in tune with their program. What I like about ASU is their spread offense. It's very similar to ours at my school. It's just a great all-around university."
No official visits have been scheduled yet but Lucien said he definitely plans to make a trip to Colorado. That comment was made before the Sun Devils offered.
A visit to Arizona State could also happen but the Crespi standout seems more focused on his senior season than his recruitment at this point.
Rivals.com rates him as the No. 47 wide receiver nationally and No. 42 in the California state rankings but there is a good chance that he could move up when the rankings are reshuffled because he proved against Vista Murrieta that he's incredibly tough to defend with only one cornerback.
"Devin did what we expected him to do," Crespi coach Jon Mack said after last weekend's win. "Devin just did his normal stuff."
So far this season, Lucien has 11 touchdown receptions. This summer he was timed at 4.47 seconds in the 40-yard dash at UCLA. The Crespi-Woodland Hills Taft matchup this weekend is one of the best contests being played in southern California.
