Lucas set to take two officials

When Rivals.com caught up with Medford (N.J.) Shawnee linebacker Dillon Lucas in mid-December the Class of 2011 prospect said he was hearing mostly from Pitt, NC State and Villanova.
While one of those schools is still involved, Lucas' list has changed a little bit. Now only two schools are under consideration.

"I'm still debating whether or not I'm going to (officially visit) Cincinnati on (January) 14 or 21," Lucas said. "The coach (from Cincinnati) is going to come and talk to me about it.
"I'm going to Cincinnati one of those weekends. Whichever weekend I don't go to Cincinnati, I'll go to Villanova.
"As of right now those are the main two officials I'm going to take."
The 6-foot-2, 204-pound linebacker was scheduled to take an official visit to Pittsburgh on January 14 but that was before all of the coaching changes that started taking place at the Big East school.
"I'm not really sure about Pittsburgh," he admitted. "I haven't talked to their coaching staff in a while."
Lucas said Villanova has offered him a scholarship while Cincinnati is talking a good game.
"Cincinnati has said they're most likely going to offer once I visit," he said.
Lucas recorded 72 tackles and four sacks in just six games on defense this year. Towards the end of his season he separated his shoulder and that limited his time on that side of the ball.
