Lucas has a favorite

Three-star athlete Jordan Lucas of Worcester (Mass.) Worcester Academy may be getting closer and closer to a final decision. As he waits to hear from one school about gaining early admission, he is also making sure that he has other options.
"Recruiting is good," said Lucas, who is 6-foot-1 and 195-pounds. "I'm just waiting to see how something works out with Temple as far as me being a mid-year guy."

Lucas explained what still needs to be cleared up with Temple.
"The Clearinghouse is putting my transcript in from my school and I just sent my SAT scores with speed delivery so they get it as soon as possible," said Lucas.
So if this all works out with Temple, Lucas was asked about the likelihood of him becoming an Owl.
"It's a great possibility," said Lucas. "They are in the lead. I like the campus a lot and I got a great feel for it on my visit. I felt very comfortable around the players that I could be possibly playing with. The coaches are great. Coach Heater would teach me a lot throughout my career and Coach Adazio is a great coach. The program is on the rise."
However, while he waits for news from Temple, Lucas is making sure not to put all of his eggs in one basket.
"Depending on whether I commit to Temple, I'll visit Rutgers and UMass soon," said Lucas, who has a visit scheduled to Rutgers on January 20th and is in the process of setting up his visit to UMass.
