Lubbock ATH is a Miner

Lubbock (Texas) Monterey athlete Greg Holleman slipped under the radar and so did his commitment that he made midway through the season.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder could play a number of positions and it appears that's exactly what he'll do. Holleman committed to an in-state school in the middle of the season according to Monterey coach Jarrod Morris.

"He committed to UTEP about halfway through the season," Morris said. "He was all-district and all-area. I know he had some more scholarship offers, but I think he wanted to go to UTEP more than the rest.
"He liked the coaches a lot and he likes the program itself. As far as the specific reasons why he didn't chose the others, I'm not sure. He just liked UTEP."
Morris says that Holleman could play safety, cornerback, or even linebacker if he got big enough.
"I believe he's going to be in the secondary," Morris said. "Safety would probably be my guess. He was a running back for us though."
