LSU or OU for three-star ATH

A few days before Christmas, Duncanville three-star athlete Pierre Brown said he was closing in on a decision. Now that Christmas has come and past, has the 6-foot-2, 180-pound all-district pick made his decision yet and do the Sooners still sit at the top of his list?
“Oklahoma is still at the top of my list,” Brown, who rushed for 1,173 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior, said. “I was really high on them before my official visit and then when I went up there I was really sold on them. I got to watch them work out at practice and see how the coaches worked with the players.

“That was something I really enjoyed seeing up close and personal. I’ll be watching them in the Sugar Bowl.”
Brown said he will also be watching LSU hard, too. Despite not visiting LSU yet (scheduled for January 16), Brown said he’s narrowed most of his focus to the Tigers and Sooners with Kansas State sitting at No. 3 on his list.
“I’ve done a lot of thinking and those two just seem to fit me the best,” Brown said. “I liked my visit to Kansas State and I know that I could be a great fit up there, too. I just feel better about what’s going on at Oklahoma and LSU is also up there.”
Brown said unlike what he thought about his pick before Christmas, that he’s now leaning more toward taking his time and might even wait another full week or two before a decision.
“I would like to do it in a week,” he said. “But I might wait a little bit longer. I guess, I’ll just have to see.”
