One of Alabama’s top defensive line prospects has garnered some impressive new scholarship offers and is getting his summer camp plans in order.
Cullman standout Justin Britt now has nine official offers and three others expected.

“Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Vanderbilt, Duke and Arkansas have all offered,” he said. “And I just got one from Notre Dame last week. They had been talking like they would offer, but it’s official now. They called to tell my coach on the last day they could call, and then sent it in writing.
“I think I’ve got offers from Colorado, Stanford and Oregon, too, but I’m not sure if those are official. They told my coach they were going to, but haven’t sent anything to me.”
Britt (6-4, 250, 4.8) said he’s starting the process of forming a list of leaders.
“I’ve kind of got an idea,” he said. “It’s mainly Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida and Notre Dame.
“Alabama is definitely one of my top schools. I’ve got two brothers there, and I like the program a lot. They’d probably be my leader, if you want to say that, also because it’s one of the only schools I’ve visited. I’ve been there and Georgia. I like both of those. I like the coaches from LSU and Florida a lot, too. I’m going to go visit them this summer.
Britt said he plans to make visits to Georgia and LSU “just to check out the campuses,” while he’ll camp at Alabama, Auburn and Florida.
“That will give me a better idea of how things look,” he said. “I’m not in a hurry to make a decision. I’ll probably watch several of these teams play this season, take my five visits, and go from there.”
As a junior, Britt recorded 112 tackles.
