LSU new to Reevers list

Garland (Texas) South quarterback Jordan Reever took a phone call last week from one school that is now pretty high on his list.
“Jordan is getting phone calls from different schools,” Reever’s father Dennis said. “A new one that called is LSU. They were at the school last Friday to see Jordan’s coach. They wanted some film and expressed their interest in him.”

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Reever is planning on taking official visits to Syracuse and Maryland after his season ends, but he could travel to Baton Rouge in the next few weeks to take in a Tiger game.
“LSU is closer to home,” the elder Reever said. “So, they are right there on his list too. They are wanting him to come down this weekend for a game, but we can’t make it. We’re looking at going to a game in a couple weeks.”
Reever, who has thrown for 1,170 yards on the season with 12 touchdowns, is out for a couple weeks with an injury.
“He had a hyper-extended elbow in the last game,” Reever said. “He’s out for a couple weeks. Hopefully the team will be able to stay in the hunt for the playoffs while Jordan recovers. Then he can get back in there. The defense is playing pretty good and will probably keep the games close.”
While the schools continue to call, Reever is focused on his senior season.
“He’s concerning himself with just playing and hasn’t really been worrying about the recruiting right now. There are so many schools keeping their foot in the door. Now they are getting a little more serious about what they are doing. They want senior film. He’s not too anxious to jump and get something done.”
